Watford-born Kenny Jackett, a former Wales international and manager of the Hornets, has passed away at the age of 64. He played over 300 games for Watford and won 31 caps for Wales. Jackett made his debut for Watford in 1980 and went on to play for the club until 1990, when he was forced to retire due to persistent knee injuries. He remained at Vicarage Road and became a coach under future England boss Graham Taylor, before being appointed manager in 1996. Jackett went on to manage Swansea, Millwall, and Wolves, winning several honors along the way. He was a highly respected manager in the EFL, known for his humility, professionalism, and deep care for his players and staff. Jackett's work was characterized by an incredible sense of responsibility to his teams and to the game itself. He will be deeply missed by the Watford community and the football world at large.
