Watford have appointed Edward Still as their new head coach. Still, the brother of former Southampton boss Will Still, has been handed the reins after a stint as caretaker manager of Anderlecht.

What happened?

Still's appointment comes after Javi Gracia's 21-game stint ended on February 1. The 35-year-old's last permanent role was an eight-game stint with Belgian side Kortrijk.

Why it matters for Watford

The Hornets remain just three points adrift of the playoffs, despite failing to win in the league during 2026. Still said: "I'm absolutely delighted. I'm so thrilled and proud to be here."

What comes next?

Watford's next fixture is away at Preston North End on February 14.
